There are possibilities to go horse riding or visiting stables for ‘retired ‘horses (Gagelgat). Lots of opportunity to cycle or walk. A small airport is nearby to watch 2,4 and 6 seater planes arrive and take off. This small airport has a restaurant with outside terrace. If adventurous you can arrange a parachute jump. In Hilversum you will find the Mediapark, Dudock buildings (including the Townhall) and the St. Vituschurch, as well as a super aquarium in the centre of Hilversum. In the area of s’Graveland you make wonderful walks in forests conservation airea. There also lovely tea gardens.

If you like Kanoing, this is possible on the lakes of Loosdrecht and Vinkeveen. Nearby there are also markets , in Utrecht, the old rag/material market, the oldest in the Netherlands (400 years)wich is on Saturday morning in the Breedstraat en Begijnhof. In Hilversum there are markets on wesnesday and Saturday on Langgewenst.
